Shocker technical requirements

4.1 The damper shall comply with the requirements of this standard and be manufactured according to the drawings and technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures;


4.2 Appearance

4.2.1 The surface of the damper should be clean, the paint layer is smooth, flat, uniform in color, no leakage coating, bubble, flow marks, wrinkles, delamination, peeling, scratching and bumping. Defects; signs should be clear, complete and correct;

4.2.2 The exposed surface of the damper connecting rod shall be coated with no defects such as peeling, bumping, scratching and rusting;

4.2.3 The damper seal part shall be smooth, flat and evenly distributed;

4.2.4 Welds should be smooth, free of blisters, cracks, discontinuities, burn through, slag sharp peaks and other defects.


4.3 Damper's display characteristics

4.3.1 The damper shall not have any abnormal phenomena such as jamming and obvious noise in the demonstration test;

4.3.2 The indicator diagram should be full and smooth, and there must be no space and so on;

4.3.3 The rated recovery damping value and rated compression damping value of the damper shall comply with the standard (20 °C ± 5 °C, intermediate position of the stroke).


4.4 Sealing The damper shall be laid flat, and shall not leak oil when it is inverted and worked. Note: Leakage oil refers to the flow of oil from the leakage port more than 25mm or more.


4.5 Friction characteristics: When the piston stroke is 20 mm and the speed is lower than 5 mm/s, the friction force should be no more than 55N. Under the above conditions, the loading lateral force FR is 300N to 600N, 900N. Until 1200N, the friction should be no more than 150N.
